Morristown, NY known as the "Gateway to the Thousand Islands" is a peaceful little village located in upstate New York on the southern shore of the majestic Saint Lawrence River. Fishing in the vicinity of Morristown is excellent. Whether on the Saint Lawrence River or Black Lake, all types of game fish including largemouth and smallmouth bass, northern pike, walleye, muskie, crappie, perch, bluegill, channel cats, bullhead, and carp are available for the angler. Boating facilities are available for motorboating or sailing. A well protected bay in the village has become a popular mooring place. Morristown has seven buildings listed on the National Register of Historic Sites. Our community welcomes the tourist to explore its history. |
